Anthony Ho
"My dad used to be a camera technician and I started shooting from the day he gave me a Nikomat camera he assembled from unused spare parts." This was how Anthony Ho remembered his first encounter with photography. He followed by reading reference books to learn the craft and participating as a volunteer photographer at school to practice his skills. Later at the university, he joined the photographic society and spent more time in the darkroom than in lecture halls.

With his experience and high professional standards, Anthony became qualified as a member of the Wedding Photojournalistic Association. He taught at the Open University of Hong Kong in the field of commercial photography and also at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in the area of design. Eventually he gained recognition in the industry and his works have been featured in international publications including Photo Technik International (Germany), Dislocation Magazine (Canada), Photo and Camera Review (Hong Kong) and IOnOne LIVE magazine (USA).

Anthony takes wedding photography as a genuine and lifelong-lasting capture of the couple’s most important day in their life. He believes these memorable moments are best documented in a candid and unobtrusive way.
