Sean David Baylis
Born in Africa, Sean grew up with a photographer mom. Watching her work in their family dark room and learning from her eventually grew into a life-long passion for Sean - photography. After finishing an undergraduate degree in Canada, Sean went on to complete photography and multimedia courses. He went travelling after his studies and eventually settled in Hong Kong in 1997.

Sean started as a freelance photographer and mainly shot fashion editorials, product catalogues as well as events. With his talent, Sean gained much success and became a full-time photographer in 2000. Sean quickly gained popularity in the industry and eventually branched into wedding photography in 2003. Today, he runs a successful commercial photography studio and is also recognized as one of the top event and wedding photographers in Hong Kong.

Sean takes an artistic approach towards wedding photojournalism capturing intimate moments with a refined sense of composition, differentiating him from others in the industry. He understands the importance of a ‘once in a lifetime’ wedding day so he is well-prepared to be there to capture every precious moment. With his expertise in post-production techniques, he can help to enhance the images to ensure optimum quality in order to keep the memories of your special day alive for the years to come.
